I have experienced both high-conflict and amicable divorces—and the difference is profound. My eldest was caught in a painful loyalty bind, feeling she had to choose between her parents, while my youngest is free to love both his father and me without feeling caught in the middle or worrying about betraying the other parent. As a parent, I have carried the weight of isolation, confusion, and frustration that come with high-conflict co-parenting and legal battles. These experiences have shaped not only who I am as a parent but also my counselling approach, fueling my passion to help families reduce conflict, protect children, and find the peace that every family member deserves.
My mission is to provide empathetic support and practical guidance for individuals facing separation, divorce, and co-parenting challenges. I know what it feels like to want to give up, to feel lost on what to do next, and the profound hopelessness that conflict can bring—because I lived it. During my darkest moments in a custody dispute, I made a promise to myself: to be the support for others that I desperately needed but couldn’t find. I have kept that promise, and I am here to help you. By drawing from both my personal experience and professional expertise, I can help you avoid the costly mistakes I made during my divorce and guide you toward solutions outside of court.
